spider web
Gau Irekia, December 12, 2015
In the space of three streets at the Marzana Pier, 12 balls of elastic cotton of different colors were used and unraveled to form a weft. The play of threads and colors created by the balls and the movement of people in a very limited space and time drew the spider web of this installation, a dynamic action that involved passers-by.
The main objective was to provide a starting point and some basic elements (in this case balls of yarn) to awaken in the participants a sense of belonging necessary to live in the contemporary city.
Action carried out with the Artikistas group.
